Cello based on Matteo Gofriller
This resonant cello has a rich lower end, with plenty of growl, whilst the top retains width and quality as you go up the A string.
Venetian cellos, especially by Gofriller and Montagnana are widely held to be equal or better than their Cremonese contemporaries. Like many Venetian cellos, this is quite a wide instrument, which gives power and a resonant bass. The body is slightly shorter than average, with a normal neck length, stop and string length.
Length of back 743mm [29 1/4 “]

Open string length 690
Body stop 400

Width, c bouts 250
