During my career I have had the privilege of playing many fine violins including a Peter Guarneri of Mantua and the Lincoln Stradivarius but I also own a lovely violin made by William Castle which I have happily played on in my role as leader of the Halle orchestra. In my opinion William is a rare maker who understands how to create a beautiful sound from his violins and should be considered by anyone looking for a new instrument.
