Violin based on Guarneri del Gesu
Model
This violin is based on the ‘Alard’ del Gesu which is in the Musée de la Musique in Paris. I have made this model a number of times and it has a wide powerful tone, slightly different from my Venetian models which have a round core to the sound, this one is more oval.
